Alicja Gaskon is a classically trained artist who received her M.F.A. from the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw and studied Architecture, specializing in Interior Design, at the WSEiZ University in Warsaw. 

Gaskon's work has been recognized by inclusion in several museum collections. She has earned grants, awards, and residencies from esteemed organizations such as the International Studio and Curatorial Program ISCP (2019), NARS Foundation (2018), Asylum Arts (2020, 2018), IAM Program at the New York Foundation for the Arts NYFA (2017), ArtSlant (2017), StartPoint Prize (2011), and PL Ministry of Culture (2009).

Her work is part of private and public collections at various places, including the National Museum (Gdansk, Poland), Stiftung Konzeptuelle Kunst-Museum Wilhelm Morgner (Soest, Germany), and the Central Museum of Textiles (Lodz, Poland).

Gaskon's work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group shows in Europe and North America, including the Central Museum of Textiles in Lodz, Korean Cultural Center in New York, Galeria Labirynt in Lublin, Lengyel Intézet in Budapest, Saatchi Gallery in London, NARS Foundation in New York, EFA Project Space in New York, Le Guern Gallery in Warsaw, Balzer Projects in Basel, Solo Positions in Berlin, Artissima in Turin, Italy, Vienna Contemporary in Vienna, Noyes Museum of Art in Atlantic City, Times Square in New York (Chashama), and Saatchi Gallery in London.
