Dividing Lines; Deconstructed Border, aluminum, enamel, acrylic, wood, 13.8 x 16.4 x 12.4 in, 2019

Dividing Lines; The Deconstructed Border focuses on the demarcation line between North and South Korea and refers to the very current topic of the denuclearization of North Korea and the unification of the Korean Peninsula. The boundary line is divided into twenty entangled elements; the number refers to the twenty detonated border posts on both sides of the DMZ in November 2018 - a meaningful step forward to minimize the conflict between the two countries.
